About Riverside County
Covering over 7,200 square miles and with about 1.8 million residents, Riverside County is the fourth largest county in California. It stretches nearly 200 miles across from the Arizona State line in the east to Orange County and the Los Angeles area in the west.
Riverside County lies inland of Los Angeles, and south of San Bernardino. The county’s east portion includes several American Indian reservations and most of the Joshua Tree National Monument.
